PHSC has been operating out of a facility in Fairview, Ore. The company, formed more than 30 years ago, serves a total of 12 hospitals and 53 medical/dental clinics in the region and employs approximately 150 people. PHSC says the new location will accommodate its current and future expansion needs.

The facility is being developed just off Airport Way at 18440 N.E. Portal Way in Panattoni Development's Riverside Parkway Corporate Center. The property is within the Airport Way urban Renewal Area and is part of the City of Portland' Quality Jobs Program, which provides forgivable performance based loans in exchange for brining new jobs into the city.

The relationship between the city and Panattoni is set up such that the city owns the land until Panattoni finds a user. At that time, Panattoni buys the land, builds the building and then sells the land and improvements to the user. For the PHSC development, Panattoni purchased 4.72 acres for $1.2 million or $5.83 per acre. City sources tell GlobeSt.com Panttoni technically acquired a little over nine acres to get the deal done, and will transfer back the difference following a lot line adjustment.
