Criscillis comes to Barry from Atlanta-based Suburban Lodges of America, where he helped complete its merger with Intown Suites Management earlier this year. Criscillis was Suburban Lodges' CFO at the time. He is also a former partner with Deloitte & Touche and has 17 years experience in commercial real estate-related disciplines.
"Hiring an experienced CFO was one of my early priorities for the company as we position ourselves for the future," Barry CEO Dan DuPree says in a prepared statement. DuPree joined Barry in September.
In the same statement, Criscillis is confident he can help grow Barry in the coming years. "This position is the perfect opportunity to leverage my recent experience in the hotel development and management businesses," he says.
