The borrower, San Diego County Medical Buildings LLC, will use the capital to refinance the existing loan on the El Cajon Medical Office Building. Located at 1625 E. Main St. in El Cajon, the facility encompasses 18,765 sf.
Gary Goss of the capital markets division of Burnham Real Estate Services arranged the loan for the LLC.
Many companies have seen an increase in loan transactions this year, especially as interest rates continue to remain at an unprecedented low. The El Cajon deal follows on the heels of another financing that recently closed. In that transaction, McMahon Development Group secured a $6-million loan from Deutsche Banc Mortgage Capital to finance its purchase of South Bay Distribution Center. Located at 684-698 Anita St. in Chula Vista, the recently acquired property encompasses 118,000 sf of industrial space.
