Schlotzsky's, the Austin-based chain of sandwich shops, will open a 5,600-sf, freestanding store. At that size, the prototype restaurant is considerably larger than its existing stores, which usually max out at about 3,700 sf. The build-to-suit restaurant will sit on a 62,000-sf pad at in the intersection of Canyon Ridge Drive and the Interstate 35 access road. A May opening is planned for the restaurant.

Austin-based Image Sculptors has taken 2,696 sf in one of the shopping center's buildings and plans to open in February. Operated by Drs. Jeremie Perry and Laura Bennett, it offers physician-supervised skin-care treatments.

Tech Ridge Center is anchored by an H-E-B grocery story. It plans a three-phase build-out into a mixed-use development that would have more than 600,000 sf of retail space, 500,000 sf of office space and hotel properties.
