The building owner W.H. Beazley. The Advantage Electronic Manufacturing, owned and operated by Ron Slezak, seeks to sell its services to companies in the Dallas-Fort Worth, Austin, Houston and the Waco area.

Slezak is targeting companies that require the use of high temperature assemblies, oversize assemblies, and industrial and military/aerospace manufacturers that require higher than commercial workmanship standards. He also provides prototyping services.The Waco-McClennan County Economic Development Fund Corp. granted $50,000 to Advantage Electronic to entice it to Waco.

Advantage Electronic is dwarfed in size and scope by the recent announcements that Tractor Supply Co. and Wal-Mart Stores Inc. would open logistics-related facilities totaling more than 500,000 sf, but it has the advantage of opening now. Tractor Supply doesn't expect to have it new facility in operation until next year and Wal-Mart's won't be ready until 2004.
