The Taiwanese IT company has agreed to take an assignment of the 25-year lease for the 28,500 sf hi-tech facility, which expires in 2008, at a passing rent of £87,250 pa ($139,914). Stuart Murray, associate at FPDSavills, commented: 'The assignment represents significant inward investment into Salford and will in turn bring new jobs to the local area'.
Compal was unrepresented.
