"The yard was very important to them," Pete Klees of the Phoenix office for Grubb & Ellis Co. tells GlobeSt.com. "That was probably the biggest reason (behind the move)."Klees said the company was located at 1140 W. Alameda in the same business park, but had outgrown the site.

The firm will occupy its new site at 822 W. 22nd St. once renovations to the single-story building are completed, Klees said. The company will pay $734,000 over the term of the lease. The Shidler Group of San Diego is the property owner.

Gordon Raguse of Grubb & Ellis represented the tenant in the transaction. Klees was Shidler's representative.
