Tom Young with NAI Horizon tells GlobeSt.com that the new owners plan to use the 310 S. 24th Ave. warehouse and industrial property as the new home for its manufacturing operation. The firm produces animal bedding and other animal related products.
"It was a good fit for both buyer and seller," said Young, who sealed the multi-million deal just three weeks after the new owners first saw the property, which includes 128,000 sf of warehouse and industrial space.
Feeder's Grain Co., which used the site for grain storage, put the property on the market as surplus after it closed up operations. Young, who represented the seller in the transaction, said the new owners plan to lease some of the space. The buyer in the deal was self-represented.
