One of the company's leading divisions, Pearson Electronic Education, will relocate from its Mesa offices to the 6710 E. Camelback Rd. building. The division develops educational software programs for schools and universities.
Ray Cashen, president of Cashen Realty Advisors Inc, which represented the building owner, Aprea II LP, in the transaction, told GlobeSt.com that the deal was the largest square footage transaction on Camelback Road last year. Cashen said the electronic education group, the company's most profitable division during 2001, will house its administrative, training and production offices at the site. Pearson, part of the Fortune 500's Pearson Custom Publishing Group, was self represented in the transaction.
