Former Post Office Site Opens Up for Retail

AUSTIN-The USPS puts a $1.35-million price tag on the 1.8-acre site at 2620 W. Anderson Lane, nestled between two shopping centers and across the street from Northcross Mall. It's one of those infill sites that only come along in a "blue moon.

AUSTIN-A prime spot for retail has opened in north Austin with the US Postal Service putting a former post office on the market. Situated at 2620 W. Anderson Lane, the 1.8-acre site is between two shopping centers and across the street from Northcross Mall.

The postal service is asking for $1.35 million for the site, which includes a 9,722-sf building. Dean Janeff of NAI Commercial Industrial Properties Co., who is marketing the property, says it’s one of those infill sites that comes along every once in a while. The postal service closed the office when it opened another facility on the south side of Northcross Mall.
