The 63-month deal will cost Champion Wire and Cable of Westbury, NY a total of $735,000, Gordon Raguse, with Grubb & Ellis Co.'s office division, tells GlobeSt.com.

"It was a good fit," said Raguse, noting that the freestanding 822 W. 22nd St. property allowed the firm to move out of 15,000 sf about a mile away and into expanded quarters with two loading docks and a fenced yard.

The company, which sells wire and cable to electrical contractors and cable firms, will move into the facility in April once tenant improvements are completed, he added.

Raguse represented the tenant in the transaction. Pete Klees of Grubb & Ellis' industrial division represented the building owners, Shidler Group.
