Michelle Hudson of the Dallas office of Henry S Miller Commercial acted for Third Coast and Brian Liverman of Trammell Crow Co.'s Austin office represented the building owner, Weingarten Realty.
Hudson tells GlobeSt.com that the lease was long term, but declined to give its exact length. Third Coast's Austin office had been in retail space at 7801 N. Lamar Blvd. "They grew as much as they could there," Hudson says. "And they wanted more of a tech-type space."
Since the deal was completed, Weingarten has hired Atlantis Properties Inc. to lease its Austin properties including the 27,350-sf 11002 Metric building.
