Sunstate Pays $2.1M for Deer Valley Site

PHOENIX-Sunstate Builders buys 7.79 acres for six build-to-suit, single-tenant buildings on the land in the Northwest Airpark. At least three sites will have airplane taxiway access at the Deer Valley Airport.

PHOENIX-An offer of nearly $2.1 million for 7.79 acres of improved land won Sunstate Builders title to the Northwest Airpark parcel that will soon become the site of six build-to-suit, single-user industrial buildings.

“We’re getting good activity. We already have three prospects we’re going to build for,” Matt Hobaica with Lee & Associates Arizona, tells GlobeSt.com, referring to the interest generated by Sunstate’s plans. The developer plans to subdivide the land, located at the northwest corner of 17th Avenue and Williams Road adjacent to the Deer Valley Airport, into one or 1 1/2-acre lots. Construction on the build-to-suit project is slated to begin within the first six months of this year.
