Insurance Firm First Tenant at Pennbrook

PHILADELPHIA-Harleysville Life Insurance Co. becomes the first tenant at 1400 Pennbrook Parkway, a new 40,000-sf office building in the 80-acre Pennbrook Business Center in Lansdale, PA., taking 14,924 sf.

PHILADELPHIA-Harleysville Life Insurance Co., a largely autonomous operation within the Harleysville insurance network, moves from its parent company’s headquarters in Harleysville, PA to 14,924 sf at 1400 Pennbrook Pkwy. at the Pennbrook Business Center in Lansdale, PA. Terms of the lease are undisclosed, but brokers familiar with the Montgomery County office market tell GlobeSt.com the average asking rental rate is just above $20 per sf.

The Harleysville lease is the first in the single-story, 40,000-sf office building that was completed last year. Pennbrook center is an 80-acre campus, designed to accommodate up to 300,000 sf of office, flex, or light industrial development along with a 170-room hotel.
