The building was recently renovated into loft-style multifamily rental units. Rental rate and the value of the grocer's long-term lease are undisclosed. Locally based Thomas Realty Partners represented the owner and Fidelity Commercial Real Estate Alliance represented the tenant.

Citizens Bank added a 2,896-sf retail branch at Two Commerce Square, where its regional headquarters is located. The value of the new lease is in excess of $800,000. The local office of New York-based Insignia/ESG and Thomas Realty negotiated the transaction.

Meanwhile, Fairfax, VA-based Cort Furniture Rental renewed its 5,000-sf lease at Two Commerce Square for a value in excess of $500,000.

H & R Block Financial Advisors relocates from Two Commerce Square to an expanded 4,049 sf on the ground floor of One Commerce Square. It is a long-term lease. Rates were not disclosed.

In two additional, separate transactions completed by Thomas Realty, Atlanta-based Barton Protective Services leased 2,948 sf on the 12th floor of 1835 Market St. , and locally based Coleman Legal Search LLC expands to 3,872 sf at Two Penn Plaza. The local office of Chicago-based Jones Lang LaSalle represented Barton, and Cushman & Wakefield of Pennsylvania represented Coleman.
