BELMOPAN, BELIZE-Cendant Corp. subsidiary Wingate Inns International will open its first franchised hotel outside North America on a 125-acre parcel in Belmopan, the new capital of Belize. To be completed by mid 2004, the 100-room property will include an 18-hole golf course and will be marketed to both business and leisure travelers.
