The first building, at 69,840 sf, will house fire sprinkler assembly, and water and sewer supply divisions. The second building, at 57,972 sf, will house the company's building materials and maintenance supplies divisions.

Codina Construction expects to finish the buildings in June. "These new buildings will enable Hughes Supply to expand its divisions," Jose Hevia, president of Codina Construction Corp., says in a statement. "These types of large-scale projects are typical of what we expect to complete in 2003."
