Burback spent 14 years with CB Richard Ellis as resident manager in both Florida and Southern California offices before becoming the first managing director of Colliers International in Portland. He merged the firm with Bullier and Bullier and directed Collier's expansion in the region. Burback left Colliers to launch Northwest Realty Advisors, which specialized in investment sales.
