Stephan and Fivia Boros of Gresham bought the Westwind Plaza because of its location in a rapidly growing suburb west of Phoenix, Cam Stanton of CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Phoenix office tells GlobeSt.com. "There's some very exciting stuff happening there," he said of the residential and commercial building and the planned move of the Arizona Cardinals and the Phoenix Coyotes into nearby new sporting facilities. "It will have great success because of what is happening in the area."

Located at 107th Avenue and Indian School Road, Westwind Plaza, which opened in May 2002, is comprised of inline shop space and four pads with tenants that include Kelly Services, Checkmate Payday Loans, Great Clips, A Dollar's the Limit, Salvation Skates and Autohouse. The tenant roster also has Washington Mutual Bank, Starbucks and a Purcell's Tire Store.

Stanton along with Mike Auther, Bob Pearlstein, Max Bippus and Paul Honeycutt, all of CB Richard Ellis, represented seller K&Y Indian School LLC of Los Gatos, CA in the transaction. The new owners were represented by Retail Brokers Inc. of Scottsdale.
