Norwood Splits Into Specialty Construction Teams

PHILADELPHIA-The West Chester, PA-based construction management, general contracting and design/build firm restructures to devote specialists to each of three types of facilities: healthcare; commercial, including suburban office buildings; and warehouse/distribution, which includes light industrial and chain store retail projects.

PHILADELPHIA-Norwood Co., a construction management and design/build firm based in West Chester, PA with an office in Allentown, PA, restructures into teams that specialize in three different types of commercial projects. They are healthcare, commercial building, and warehouse/distribution.

The healthcare team is headed by Joe Mitchell Jr., assistant vice president and project executive, and John Rosero, vice president of pre-construction. It concentrates on planning and building hospitals and healthcare facilities.

The commercial building team, which focuses on the construction of suburban office buildings and interior fit-outs, is led by Steve Takoushian, assistant vice president and project executive, and Jim Goshow, vice president of preconstruction. The construction services division, headed by Sam Beamer, senior project manager, is part of this group.
