2.4M-SF Mixed-Use Project Now Under Way

WARSAW-Ground was broken today on a 2.4-million sf multi-use project here that will include office, retail and restaurant/entertainment space. Dubbed Zlote Taraxy, which translates to “golden terrace,” the project is part of the city’s master plan for the Palace of Culture and Science District.

The Jerde Partnership-designed project’s glass-enclosed plaza will feature a retractable ceiling inspired by tree canopies of the city’s historic parks to provide protection from bad weather and ensure year-round accessibility. Mid- and high-rise towers will encircle a terraced central plaza that will host concerts, cultural and community events. Zlote Tarasy is slated to be completed in mid-2005.
