In this capacity, Munson will oversee all transaction services activities and groups to help expand Burnham's market share in Southern California and beyond. The company's transaction services group includes sales and leasing activities for all commercial real estate product type including office, industrial and R&D, retail and multifamily.

Having joined Burnham as senior vice president in July 2002, Munson has been appointed as managing director due in part to his prior production track record in office, industrial and retail. "Jim is a highly seasoned professional with a very successful track record in actual transaction production in numerous product types--a level of expertise that is rarely found in the industry today," says Stath Karras, Burnham's president and CEO.Munson's previous career experience includes serving as senior vice president and managing director at CB Richard Ellis' Anaheim office from 1991 to 1999 and then working at Trammell Crow Co.'s Irvine office as principal and director of Southern California brokerage services from 1999 to 2001. Immediately prior to joining Burnham, Munson acted as executive vice president and managing director for Grubb & Ellis Co.'s San Diego office.
