Jim Trobaugh, Rob Marsh and Chris Hook of CB Richard Ellis' Phoenix office represented the tenant, Deutsche Lufthansa AG of Los Angeles, in the transaction. The building owner, Tapp Holdings ULC of Oklahoma City, was self-represented. Financial terms of the deal are not being disclosed.

Tapp acquired a 4.5-acre site for the project in Major Bennett Industrial Park last fall. Cornerstone Builders Ltd. designed and is constructing the facility, which will house 200 to 300 Global Telesales employees.

The airline's new facility will be housed at 1900 Fisher Dr., a build-to-suit office building. Lufthansa picked Peterborough, which is situated northeast of Toronto, partly because of the area's job market.

Lufthansa Airlines is an autonomous unit under the Lufthansa Group umbrella with a fleet of roughly 240 aircraft and a staff of more than 30,000. The carrier serves 349 markets in 94 countries. The Peterborough will be Lufthansa's eighth customer service center. Others are located in Berlin, Dublin, Los Angeles, New York, Melbourne, Cape Town and Istanbul.
