Maury Carter Closes $4.8M in Land Deals

ORLANDO-Maury L. Carter & Associates, a 40-year-old, locally based land brokerage, has closed three all-cash transactions totaling 43.57 acres that sold for $4.78 million or an average $109,628 per acre ($2.52 per sf).

In south Lake County, 25 miles west of Downtown Orlando, Winter Park, FL-based Chester C. Fosgate Co. sold 27 acres of its Skytop holdings to South Lake Hospital for $2.7 million or $100,000 per acre ($2.30 per sf). The property, in the northeast quadrant of Citrus Tower Boulevard and Oakley Seaver Boulevard, is Phase I and Phase II of a three-phase purchase by the Clermont, FL-based hospital. Daryl M. In the second transaction, Fosgate sold Premier Promenade Plaza LLC a 4.2-acre tract for $526,000 or $125,357 per acre ($2.88 per sf). The dirt is on the north side of State Road 50, west of Hancock Road. Patrick Chisholm of the Maury Carter firm represented Fosgate.
