UDRT Brings in New Blood

RICHMOND, VA-Multifamily REIT United Dominion Realty Trust Inc. has made a new hire for the new year with the recent enlistment of industry insider Dan Adams to serve as the organization’s executive vice president of operational strategy. Adams will head up UDRT’s Operational Excellence Initiative, which is part of the company’s strategy to become the preeminent force in the property operation business.

“During the past two years, our focus on operational improvements has helped us lead the apartment REIT sector in Total Shareholder Return,” explains UDRT president and CEO Thomas W. Toomey. “We intend to continue to find ways to add value and increase operating efficiency, and Dan will be a big part of identifying those opportunities and working with all UDRT associates to create enhanced value for our residents and investors.” Adams brings with him 20 years of experience, having most recently served as the chief operating officer and acting CFO with Digital Lighthouse Corp. in Denver.
