Buyer, the Barclay Group, will move its headquarters into the prestigious property where, along with roll-down shades and bathroom showers, the firm also will get additional office space for expansion, broker Eric Wichterman with Grubb & Ellis Co.'s investment division tells GlobeSt.com.
"It's a high prestige building," Wichterman said of the five-year-old, two-story building at 15974 N. 77th St. "It's got a good image, good location and has 10,000 sf for them to occupy with additional space for expansion." Soon, the retail development company will be moving more than 40 employees from the current headquarters in the McCormack Ranch into the new facility.
Seller Fleur De Lis Investments, whose subsidiary Gilbertson Engineering occupied the building, has moved the engineering firm to 11,000 sf in a leased building at 2 Princess Dr. in the Perimeter Center, Wichterman said.
Wichterman, along with Jeff Hartland with Grubb & Ellis' office division represented the seller in the transaction. Jim Watkins of Phoenix-based Lee & Associates Arizona represented the buyer.
