Gale Co. Unveils Plans for $12.5B New Songdo City Project

NEW YORK CITY-Gale Co. CEO Stan Gale, representatives from Kohn Pederson Fox, and dignitaries and corporate executives from the Republic of Korea gathered last week at the Waldorf Astoria hotel to honor Mayor Sang-Soo Ahn, the new Mayor of Incheon City, South Korea.

The event also showcased the $12.5-billion New Songdo City project, a joint venture development of the Gale Co. and Posco E&C, Korea’s largest engineering and construction firm. Dubbed NSC, the partnership plans to develop 1,500 acres of reclaimed waterfront land with 40 million sf of office space, 10 million sf of retail, a convention center, golf courses, schools, and 25 million sf of residential space. New Songdo City will be home to 150,000 residents.
