Bart Matheney and David Putman, both with the Austin office of CB Richard Ellis Inc., represented the building owner, PacTrust. Layton Wilson, who has his own firm, negotiated for Rudd and Wisdom.
The firm expects to move into the building in May after finish-out of its space, one-half of the second floor, is completed, Matheney tells GlobeSt.com that Rudd & Wisdom leaves the Cross Building in Koger Center at 7718 Wood Hollow, also in the northwest submarket.
The 9500 Arboretum Blvd. building was emptied about a year ago when Computer Sciences Corp. moved to new buildings in the CBD. After an extensive renovation, CB Richard Ellis began marketing the building for PacTrust. Advanced Micro Devices Inc. has taken 56,000 sf on the building's top two floors and Aon Services Inc. occupies 9,236 sf on the second floor.
