New Consulting Firm Puts Spotlight on Mold

NEW YORK CITY-Formed by two NYC construction/environmental lawyers, Sitomer Environmental is setting is focus on reducing mold-related risks in the real estate sector.

NEW YORK CITY-As fears of toxic mold continue to spread throughout the real estate industry, two environmental/construction lawyers have banded together to offer their expertise to developers and contractors. Daniel Sitomer and Michael Hogan, both senior partners at the law firm of Sitomer & Hogan LLP have opened Sitomer Environmental Corp. here.

The real estate consulting venture is targeting the mold-related risk-management issues facing property owners, developers, investors, managers and contractors. Providing in-house mold training seminars to industry professionals, along with customized mold management plans and moisture-control programs, the consulting team hopes to eliminate some of the confusion surrounding mold exposure.
