The office is working on a child development project with Texas, according to Jay Theisen, a broker with the Austin office of Henry S. Miller Commercial. He represented the University of Florida and Paul Joseph of USAA Realco represented his firm.
Theisen tells GlobeSt.com that the search was straightforward. The office is working with a group in the Reata area and wanted to be nearby. The Stratum is a four-building office complex with a total of 426,835 sf.
At 34%, the far northwest submarket had the city's highest vacancy rate at the end of 2002, according to figures from Colliers International. That was down slightly from the third-quarter rate of 34.2%.
