PHILADELPHIA-Keystone Property Trust has landed a 26,970-sf tenant for its building at 7520 Morris Ct. in the Westpark Business Center in Allentown, PA. Lawn and garden parts and equipment supplier Dixie Sales has signed a lease and plans a Monday morning grand opening at their new space.
While terms were not disclosed, asking lease rates at the center are $4.50 per sf.
Bill Wolf of Insignia/ESG's Lehigh Valley office says Dixie Sales corporate offices and distribution center in Browns Summit, NC as well as distribution branches in Orlando, FL and Memphis, TN. However, the Lehigh Valley facility will serve customers in the northeast region of the US.
“Dixie Sales chose the Lehigh Valley because of the outstanding road network that enables them to provide 24 hour service to almost 60% of the country's population,” Wolf adds in a statement.
Dixie Sales, formed nearly 100 years ago as a company that vulcanized tires, has seen its lawn and garden business grow so rapidly that it divested itself of its auto parts business. The company takes nearly 20% of the 154,160-sf building.
