The renovation will upgrade the hotels 570 guestrooms. In addition, a 2,625-sf conference center and 10 additional meeting rooms ranging in size from about 200 sf to 1,400 sf will be built. A full-service fitness center, day spa, restaurant and bar will also be added to the property's existing facilities.
"The renovation of the hotel will place the Hilton Vienna at the top of the highly competitive congress and convention market in Vienna and further cement our place as the leading hotel in the country," says hotel general manager Rico de Schepper.
Hilton International operates three other hotels in Austria: Hilton Vienna Plaza, Hilton Vienna Danube and Hilton Innsbruck.
