Mark Bramlett with Grubb & Ellis Co.'s retail advisory division tells GlobeSt.com that the company purchased the acreage for close to $1.2 million from Cactusback LLC, which had placed the parcel on the market about 18 months earlier. "We were looking at selling off portions of the property when this offer came along," said Bramlett, who represented the seller in the transaction. Construction on the facility is slated to be completed by summer, he added.

Bramlett said the land was a good fit for the credit union, which was looking for property in the northwest valley to build a branch office and headquarters. David Wilson of DAUM Commercial Real Estate Services represented the buyer in the transaction.
