Thor Equities Hires Three Top Executives

NEW YORK CITY-Boosting its presence in the urban redevelopment segment, Thor Equities has brought three new executives on board who specialize in retail and mixed-use city projects.

NEW YORK CITY-Three new top-level executives have been picked up by Thor Equities to enhance its already strong position in the urban renewal market. Kurt A. Reich joins Thor as EVP of acquisitions; Dave English has assumed the role of VP of construction; and Carl Reggie was named director of marketing.

Noting the three new appointees “will each play an instrumental role in promoting redevelopment in US communities,” Joseph J. Sitt, chairman and CEO of Thor, adds, ” Their experience and expertise in the urban retail/mixed-use sector will bolster Thor Equities’ status.” Thor is a development and investment company specializing urban projects and public/private partnerships.

With more than 25 years of real estate experience, Reich will be responsible for execution of new acquisitions. Most recently, he spent five years as a managing partner with Walden Partners LLC, an investor and operator of undervalued real estate assets. He also worked as a senior executive with Prudential Real Estate Investors where he completed more than $2.5 billion in real estate transactions.
