The antique store, formerly known as Mesa Antique Mart, has signed a seven-year, $2.7-million lease that will allow it to will more than double in size when it opens in February in the 236,539-sf shopping plaza, located at 8740 East Shea Blvd.

Milt Jesman of DAUM Commercial Real Estate's Phoenix office said the upscale antique mart, which is serviced by 150 independent vendors, will employ about 15 people at the site and feature a delicatessen, gourmet coffee shop and old-fashion ice cream parlor along with an antique showroom. The store, which has won the "Best of Phoenix" and "Best of Arizona" awards several times, was located in Mesa for about 20 years prior to its relocation.

Jesman represented Chez Antiques in the transaction. Zack Pace and Lance Umble, both of Phoenix Commercial Advisors, represented the shopping center's building owner, Regency Centers LP.
