Zilliant is paying less with its renewal on 9,565 sf than it did when it took the space several years ago, says Jack Tynes, a Colliers International principal. He declined to be more specific. Tynes and Colliers colleague Greg Johnson represented Zilliant. Greg Johnston of the Austin office of Transwestern Commercial Services negotiated for the building owner, Koll Bren Fund VI LP.

Tyne tells GlobeSt.com that Zilliant looked around for other offices in the fall, but decided it was better to stay put. The company had taken another 8,000 sf across the hall, but negotiated the office space back to the building owner last year.

The Escalade is a three-building property at 4301 Westbank Dr. The buildings, erected in 1985, total 115,000 sf.
