Nam Tai to Spend $40M for 250,000-SF Expansion

SHENZHEN, CHINA-Hong Kong-based telecommunications equipment manufacturer Nam Tai Electronics Inc will increase its existing facility here by 250,000 sf. The project, located adjacent to the company’s main industrial campus here, will cost roughly $40 million and is scheduled for completion before the end of September 2004. Primary production lines will focus on mobile phone components.
