Brookfield Leases 300,000 SF at BCE Place

TORONTO-Law firm McMillan Binch signs on for 15 years and will occupy 106,000 sf on four floors of the Bay-Wellington Tower. In addition, two tenants re-upped in a 10-year deal for 10 floors of the Canada Trust tower where they will occupy 207,000 sf.

TORONTO-Brookfield Properties has inked two leases at its flagship BCE Place complex here. The transactions–one a renewal by two tenants and one a new tenancy–involve more than 300,000 sf at the 750,000-sf facility.

Law firm McMillan Binch has signed a 15-year deal for 106,000 sf on four floors of BCE’s Bay-Wellington Tower. The 500-member business law firm, which just turned 100 years old, specializes in financial services, mergers and acquisitions, tax, real estate, public policy and other specialized practices.

Meanwhile, two unnamed tenants signed a 10-year lease renewal through 2015 on 10 floors of the Canada Trust Tower for a total of 207,000 sf.
