California Firm Sets Up Austin Office

AUSTIN-Sequence Design Inc., a software developer for designing computer chips, has leased 2,800 sf at Barton Oaks Plaza One, a Crescent Real Estate Equities' building at 901 S. MoPac Expressway in the southwest submarket.

AUSTIN-A Santa Clara,, CA-based company that makes software for designing computer chips has opened an Austin office in 2,800 sf at Barton Oaks Plaza One, situated at 901 S. MoPac Expressway. The company will offer sales and support services from the office.

A contact at Sequence Design Inc. tells GlobeSt.com that its Austin “Center of Excellence” may include research and development staff in the future, but for now the focus is on sales and support. It also has similar centers in Santa Clara, Acton, MA and Tokyo. Jerry Philippe, who has 24 years’ experience in the industry, heads the office, which serves the central US.
