Hodges Begins $14M, 500,000-SF Project

ATLANTA-M.D. Hodges Enterprises, the Atlanta suburban affiliate of New York-based Blackstone Real Estate Advisors, is looking to a March start on a distribution center within the hot 1,200-acre Southpark development.

ATLANTA-Despite a sagging local and national economy, M.D. Hodges Enterprises, a metro Atlanta industrial development leader for decades, plans a March ground-breaking on a speculatively built $14 million, 500,000-sf distribution center within the commercial hot Southpark development, eight miles south of Hartsfield Atlanta International Airport.

Hodges’ principals couldn’t be reached at GlobeSt.com’s publication deadline. But area industrial brokers familiar with the Southside submarket tell GlobeSt.com the developer is shooting for an August completion.
