Manekin Begins Construction on Another Warehouse

LANDOVER, MD-Cabin Branch Distribution Center has made room for yet another structure as Manekin LLC commences construction on a 30,000-sf warehouse facility. The new structure will mark the third such state-of-the-art building Manekin has constructed for Pacific Realty Associates LP. The other two structures at the distribution park, developed last year, are a Whole Foods custom-designed structure and a spec warehouse. Manekin’s Caryn Sagal tells GlobeSt.com that the newest project is to cost $1.4 million to develop and is scheduled for completion in June.

Located where Cabin Branch Dr. and Sheriff Rd. meet, the Cabin Branch Distribution Center is within close proximity to sports complex Fed Ex Field. The new warehouse will occupy a parcel that was formerly home to a Safeway grocery store distribution facility. Giant grocery store keeps its distribution center right next to the space on which the warehouse will sit. Taylor Equipment Rental is on board to be the building’s main tenant.
