National merchants taking space in the 44,000-sf retail component of the project on the first floor include Sur La Table, a Seattle-based gourmet wares retailer, which has 29 stores nationwide. This will be its first suburban Chicago location. Ann Taylor Loft, a sister store to Ann Taylor, will open a store in the space as well. The Loft carries a less expensive line of women's clothing.

Coldwater Creek, a casual clothing and home accessories retailer, began as a catalog mail order merchant in 1984. Based in Idaho, it now has 43 stores nationwide, including a relatively new store in far west suburban Geneva. Finally, J. Jill, which started as a catalog retailer as well, opened its first actual store in 1999. Locally, it has additional locations in Geneva, Skokie and Oak Brook.

Nicholas Peters and Sharon Kahan of CB Richard Ellis Inc. are exclusive agents of the retail space, which will eventually hold a total of eight tenants. The upper floors will include 80,000 sf of office space.
