Quantum Fine Casework Signs $14M Sublease

MIAMI-In a deal valued at approximately $14 million, Quantum Fine Casework has inked a sublease to occupy a 232,000-sf, free-standing building in Weston, FL that was formerly a Circuit City distribution warehouse. Quantum Fine Casework, which manufactures high-end cabinet displays for the retail industry, has assumed the remaining lease term of 14.5 years. The deal translates to approximately $4.16 per sf, or an average of about $965,500 per year.

The building is located on 16-plus acres at 3245 Meridian Parkway in the Meridian Business Campus. The facility consists of 23,000 sf of office space as well as 27 dock-high loading doors on two sides.

Richard F. Etner Jr., senior director-industrial brokerage for Cushman & Wakefield in Fort Lauderdale, and a broker involved in the transaction, said Quantum plans to move into the Weston facility within 90 days. The company currently is based in several buildings in Fort Lauderdale Commerce Center.
