Tyler Smith of Grubb & Ellis Co.'s Phoenix office division tells GlobeSt.com that the mortgage firm, which has been at the same 7373 E. Doubletree Ranch Rd. location for about five years, took an extra 2,109 sf in the 110,000-sf, class A, multi-tenant, office building, adding more space for the firm's mortgage brokers.

Built in 1986, the three-story building is located in one of Scottsdale's premier office parks. It is home to a number of small firms, but its major tenant is Pilgrim Capital, Smith said.

Smith negotiated the deal along with Lori Casey of Oxford Realty in Tucson, negotiated the deal for the tenant. Building owner, Gainey Ranch Financial LP LLC was represented in the negotiations by Kelly McKone with Cushman & Wakefield of Arizona Inc.
