The building in the suburb north of Bala Cynwyd will house new offices of the Delaware County Intermediate Unit, one of Pennsylvania's 29 regional educational agencies. DCIU provides more than 55 programs totaling $60 million to county residents, and it serves more than 100,000 school-age students and more than 6,000 regional educators.
PECO is an Exelon company. Exelon was formed in 2000 when PECO acquired Chicago-based Unicom. PECO delivers electricity to 1.5 million customers in the five-country Philadelphia region and natural gas to 430,000 customers in Southeastern Pennsylvania.
J. Scott Gabrielsen, SVP of the Binswanger/CBB headquarters office in King of Prussia, PA, handled the sale for PECO. John Perkins of the local office of Grubb & Ellis, represented the buyer.
