The mortgage firm, a leading residential lender, will move in April 1, Jerry Roberts, vice president with CB Richard Ellis Inc.'s Phoenix office tells GlobeSt.com. "This is a tenant that wanted to move out of midtown and was looking for a building with a strong amenity base," said Roberts. "They found that the quality of the Galleria and the price made it a smoking deal."
Roberts said about 180,000 sf of office space has already been leased in the 312,000-sf, mixed-use building. It is expected to be fully leased by the end of next year.
Roberts and CBRE's Jerry Callahan negotiated the terms on behalf of the Galleria Corporate Centre. Oak Street Mortgage LLC was represented in the transaction by Todd Brandon and Dev Gupta, a Phoenix team for Chicago-based Equis Corp.
