GlobeSt.com UPDATE: Port Approves Deal to Bring McCormick & Schmick's to PDX

PORTLAND-Under an agreement approved this morning by Port of Portland Commissioners, Washington D.C.-based Anton Airfood Inc. will lease 6,635 sf for 15-years, spend upward of $2 million on tenant improvements and pay rent equal to 8% of the restaurant's annual gross sales.

PORTLAND-A 6,635-sf McCormick & Schmick’s restaurant will open at the Portland International Airport this November under a lease agreement approved by Port of Portland Commissioners this morning. The restaurant will be located in an area open to the general public near the south security check point

The 15-year lease agreement is with Washington D.C.-based Anton Airfood Inc., which currently operates 104 restaurants in 15 airports nationwide. Anton will operate the grill under a licensing agreement with Portland-based McCormick and Schmick Management Group, which operates a few dozen upscale restaurants around the nation.
