Encompassing 17,580 sf, the building stands at 722 33rd St. The buyer, Reid & Clark Screen Arts Co., plans to relocate into the newly acquired facility from its previous site on Island Street in Downtown San Diego's Ballpark District.

Reid& Clark was represented by Tim Mills of Burnham Real Estate Services ONCOR International. Ron Bement and Pat Kane of CB Richard Ellis acted on behalf of Nelson Properties.

The deal comes amidst a pick-up of activity in the county's industrial market. According to a recent Burnham Real Estate report, the overall industrial vacancy rate for the region stands at 7.4%, which is the lowest level reported here since 1997. The vacancy rate for multi-tenant space is 4.7%, while the warehouse sector has reported a level of 9.3%
