"When they looked at the different option in the market, they came to the conclusion that the best deal was to stay there and expand," Trevor Klinkhamer, managing director with Insignia/ESG tells GlobeSt.com of the newspaper's 1625 E. Northern Ave. offices. "The location works well for them."

Klinkhamer said the newspaper will take a portion of a recently vacated adjoining suite to expand its offices to 4,874 sf. The space will be used to add editorial and advertising staff, he said.

Klinkhamer represented the tenant in the transaction. The building owner, with St. John's Woods Associates, Oreg. Ltd, of Oregon, was represented by Anesta Pasch with Americal Property Management of Beverly Hills, CA.
