Unique Eco-Industrial Park Planned for San Leandro

SAN LEANDRO, CA-McMahon Development Group is working with the City of San Leandro to build a 21-acre eco-industrial park, which will be one of the first in the United States.

SAN LEANDRO, CA-McMahon Development Group is building a 21-acre industrial park in San Leandro that will put the Bay Area on the map as the leader of eco-industrial development.

The Bayside Business Center is anchored by a 58,000-sf Fed Ex Ground facility and has been specifically designed by GAA Architects to maximize future expansion capability. The project, which surrounds McMahon’s Fed Ex Ground facility in the City of San Leandro, will include seven buildings and a total of 311,100-sf.

According to GA Architects, the project is being “heralded as an industrial ‘Eco Park’” development based on its implementation of the U.S. Green Building Standards.”
